is an artisan butcher & Grocery, based in Oughterard, Co. Galway,
which is in the middle of the amazing area of Connemara. Very close to
one of Irelands largest and beautiful Lake, the Lough Corrib.

McGeough’s Butcher & Charcuterie, founded in 1971 by Eamonn
McGeough, later taken over by his son James, has been at the forefront
of innovation in artisan meats and high Quality for over 50 years.

Now in the 3rd generation .....

by Justin McGeough.

Over the past few years Justin and his team have
focused on refining recipes and creating great tasting
The product range includes fresh meat (beef,
pork, lamb, poultry), sausages and high-
quality meats such as BBQ, meat platters,
Beef-Wellington and much more.

Of particular note is our unique range of
air-dried and smoked meats.

In addition to our extensive range of meat, we
offer our customers a variety of delicacies and also
everyday groceries.

For all our products we make sure, that we use high
quality local producers and suppliers as far as possible.

We cater for events and supply wholesale customers.

The business is operated in Oughterard, Co.Galway,
approved by the Department of Agriculture.

The company also has an EU-license.

friendly service and years of knowledge to help
customers enjoy products and services of the highest
quality and the finest workmanship and preparation.
